Stacy: There's so many of them. But I really enjoy being the Black Widow because she's thisStacy really cool, classic "James Bond" type woman in her 40's. And, she's got this great name, Natasha. She's a really exciting character and I love being able to portray her.

Deb: And do you have a  favorite artist or illustrator?

Stacy: I really couldn't say. Every one of them is so different in their own way. It's such a privilege to work with all of them. They all have something special and unique about them, so I could never say one is better than another. I'm very fortunate.

Deb: I've read in other interviews that grew up traveling a lot? Did that have any influence you and the person that you have become?

Stacy: Absolutely. Going to Europe, especially Italy, was really amazing.  I used to get inspired by the sculptures, fountains and all the architecture  that I saw. Each one was a story to me. That's when I first saw fantasy characters liketeefa.jpg (34876 bytes) centaurs,  mermaids, Neptune's and all kinds of wild things. That really started something in me that I felt connected to.

Deb: We are here at Wizard World, a large graphic novel and comic book convention.  What is your favorite part of coming to these kind of shows?

Stacy: Well, I love looking at all the merchandise, the original art, and I love comic book art, seeing some of the originals from my favorites that you don't normally see. I like to see all the new toys and see all my friends. I know a lot of great people in the industry that I only get to see them a couple times a year. So it's really cool.

Deb: How is your writing coming along?

Stacy: It's coming along. Not as fast as I'd like, but we're working to have the treatments done on these characters by this fall. I really want to try and get some interest going while this whole Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter thing is going on. I can't write full stories, so what I'm trying to do is get some investors so I can hire the people that I want to have finish the illustrations, to do the full writing and collaborate with me.

Deb: Wow!  So is that one of your personal dreams for the future?

Stacy: I would like to have my own production company that would create books, other reading material, animation, live action, fine art, calendars, sculptures, or whatever we can do. That's what I'd really like. To have my own production company.

Deb: Speaking of sculptures, I've heard something about you becoming a statue?

Stacy: Well, yes. They turned this particular painting by Fortin and Sanders into a statue for Spencer's Gifts. It's really cool.  Also at the San Diego convention, I was approached by a couple of companies to do some limited Heavy Metal statues. We're in talks and hopefully we'll be able to get something out by the next year or two.

Deb: What about acting? Are you interested in acting at all?

Stacy: Always have been. I did a lot of it when I was younger, and then I just somewhat backed away from it. At that time, my look just wasn't in,  but now things are different.  I'm hoping now that I'm established myself into a niche in this industry that I can start getting some representation and see where things we can go as far as live action.

Deb: As well as being considered a fabulous model in this industry, you are also known as a really great business woman. I wonder if you have any advice for other young ladies who want to get in this business.

Stacy: Well, whatever business it is, if you love it and are passionate about it, do the research. Do your homework. Educated yourself so when you go out there people take you seriously.heavymarch2000.jpg (46922 bytes) Being taken seriously was a big goal of mine. People would sometimes look at my image and think that I'm just a body, and that I don't have a brain. When they see how passionate I am,  that I do know what I'm talking about and that I love the comics, I'm not just a model anymore. I was into this since I was a kid. They take me seriously, because they know I really believe in what I do. I know my stuff and they can't take advantage of me. They want to work with me because they know I'm going to be out there working harder than anybody to get things done. So educate yourself and do your homework.

Thank you so much Stacy. It was a pleasure to see you again. We wish you all the best of luck in the future.
