Strategic Engagement

Flying a dangerous mission into a war-torn country to save his two little orphaned brothers was all in a day's work for Air Force hero Daniel Baker.  But finding Mary Elise McRae stowed away on board - scared, alone and living her life on the run from an ex-husband who wanted her dead - was the last thing he'd ever expected.  She'd been his best friend, his lover and nearly his wife.  Danny would stop at nothing to keep her safe... even if it meant falling in love with her all over again.

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS: RR@H Top Pick

Ever had a book just take your breath away almost from page one? Well, I just did. STRATEGIC ENGAGEMENT is a highly emotional reunion story. Mary Elise and Danny were childhood friends and sweethearts whose relationship ended badly. Each believed they had moved on until they unexpectedly see each other again.

I was caught up in the duo's heartbreaking relationship from the moment of the reunion. My heart turned over many, many times while reading and before long, I felt all the joys, fears, heartaches and happiness right along with the couple.

I can't even express how much I highly recommend STRATEGIC ENGAGEMENT. I've placed it in a prominent position on my keeper shelf. Count me as the newest fan of Catherine Mann and I'll be eagerly collecting her backlist.
