Mary Elise and Danny were childhood friends and sweethearts whose relationship ended badly. Each believed they had moved on until they unexpectedly see each other again.

I was caught up in the duo's heartbreaking relationship from the moment of the reunion. My heart turned over many, many times while reading and before long, I felt all the joys, fears, heartaches and happiness right along with the couple.
