RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

Barbara Dunlop's MILLIONS TO SPARE is sure to please horse fans and romance lovers alike. It is a fast-paced, sexy story. Set in an exotic location and filled characters whose larger-than-life surroundings satisfy my inquisitiveness about how jet set lives, MILLIONS TO SPARE is a pleasure from first page to last.

Julia is a journalist who not only wants to get to the story behind a story in order to help her friends, she is set on advancing her career—as quickly as possible. When she sees an opportunity to uncover the facts she doesn't hesitate, jumping into a horse trailer to take her own DNA evidence. Unfortunately, she's pinned by the horse and transported to a palace of sorts, where she's eventually held captive by the most charming, hot-as-sin jailor in history!

The romantic aspects of this story are stellar, especially since it turns out that there is more than one love connection to this tale. But I think what I enjoyed most was the mystery surrounding the horses, as well as Julia's willingness to do anything to unravel everything. It doesn't hurt that Harrison is a hero among heroes, the epitome of a rescuer on a charging steed, either. Ms. Dunlop's writing style is smooth and descriptive, and kept me glued to the page. Really, when I think about it, there wasn't anything about MILLIONS TO SPARE that I didn't enjoy. A lot.

Wonderfully engaging, MILLIONS TO SPARE is a delight!
