What Looks Like Crazy by Charlotte Hughes

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS: Top Pick

WHAT LOOKS LIKE CRAZY by Charlotte Hughes is a madcap romp that was impossible to put down. It begins in a heart-clutching but ultimately hysterical fashion, with psychologist Kate Holly trying to talk a patient out of jumping to his death. This full-tilt introduction to the heroine and her life continues through the book, with Kate going from one unusual situation to the next. She's surrounded by a host of well-meaning, if sometimes misguided, secondary characters who make no bones about butting into her less-than-ideal personal life. With chaos surrounding her, and her love life in tatters, Kate must reconcile herself with loving someone whose own choices don't follow her ideas for a safe happily-ever-after.

I loved WHAT LOOKS LIKE CRAZY. With this one book, Charlotte Hughes has garnered a fan. I'll search out her backlist and read those while I wait for the next adventure from this author.
