Witches and vampires are certainly not new territory for romance novels, but what makes Linda Wisdom's newest series different from the rest is the secondary characters who live in Jazz's world. From the chain-smoking Irma to Fluff and Puff, you've never met characters like these. And, honestly, that's what makes 50 WAYS TO HEX YOUR LOVER such a cute book.

It's not that you've never seen this plot before, it's that you've never seen it put together quite this way before. Populated by charming and witty characters, the world Wisdom has built is one that lives vibrantly in the mind of the reader. I also liked that although Jazz and Nick are drawn to each other, their attraction is not without its bumps. Jazz is an engaging heroine and through all of her scrapes and fumbles you'll be rooting for her and laughing along the way. The second book in this series, HEX APPEAL, is set to be released in November 2008.
