DANGEROUS TO HAVE

When psychic pet lover Sidney Morrow takes in a troubled stray, she has a vision so disturbing she feels compelled to alert the authorities.  Handsome homicide detective Marc Cruz doesn’t care for mangy-looking dogs, or con artists who claim they have ESP, but he does like Sidney—as a suspect.

DANGEROUS TO HOLD

As the investigation heats up, so does the attraction between Sidney and Marc.  When a local news crew snaps an explicit photo of the couple exploring their feelings for each other in a semi-public place, Marc is taken off the case.  And now that a killer has seen Sidney’s face in the paper, she’s in serious danger…

DANGEROUS TO TOUCH

Marc continues to investigate without the support of the department, vowing to protect Sidney at all costs.  Although Sidney usually shies away from physical contact, every moment she’s with Marc she longs for his touch.  Can this beautiful recluse find solace in the arms of a cynical cop who never lets his guard down.

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:Top Pick

Jill Sorenson debuts in Silhouette Romantic Suspense with style! DANGEROUS TO TOUCH is an engrossing, very sexy psychic thriller.

Sidney Morrow leads a suppressed life, interacting mostly with the animals at the kennel she owns. But even that can be problematic, because she can read minds, both human and animal, as well as obtain flashes of the past from objects.

One morning, she wakes to the sound of dog barks, and the news on television features a story about a potential serial killer picking up women with dogs. Unfortunately, she finds the dog of one of the missing women outside. She tries to do the right thing and contact the authorities. The police aren't buying her story though, and begin to treat her as a potential suspect.

Lt. Marc Cruz doesn't believe Sidney's story, but he finds her innocent charms intriguing on a personal level. He knows she has special knowledge of his case regardless of how she's getting the information, so he forces her to spend time with him while he sorts it out in his head.

One thing I love about good category romance novels is how neatly everything is tied up at the end. Sorenson understands her genre well, and supplies a taut thriller with passion. She'll go far!
