A married Trinity comes home one day to find her husband, Harper, in the shower with another woman. After throwing both out of her home, Trinity is still shaken by what she has seen and the knowledge that Harper was just using her rather than loving her. Trinity packs a bag and heads for a local hotel to get away from the mess that is her marriage. There, her mind continues to play out the scene of Harper and the voluptuous woman he had been sleeping with, and she starts to doubt her own feminine power. It is then that Trinity decides to take her sensuality back into her own hands. It is during such an interlude that the guest in the room next door overhears Trinity.

Scott Sinclair is recently divorced and has thrown himself into his work to escape the loneliness he now feels. It is after a hard day's work that he returns to his hotel room, only to hear a woman's sexy moans through the wall. This excites Scott very much and soon enough, he finds himself knocking on the woman's door to ask for a show. Trinity is both scandalized and intrigued by the handsome Scott. She agrees to let him watch her and together, they both find pleasure, though they do not touch. Scott wants more and leaves the mysterious woman a note with his name and phone number, hoping that she will call and continue the sexy fantasy. And when she does return his call, that is the first of many risqué rendezvous they share.

SHOW AND TELL is a companion novel to Haynes' erotic romance, THE FORTUNE HUNTER, released last year. Trinity played a supporting role in the first novel, and I was glad to learn she would be coming back for her own sexy romp with this newest release. As the rendezvous between her and Scott heat up, they both start to feel an attachment that neither really wants. For once in her life, Trinity is breaking the rules and finding pleasure for herself. But she cannot resist Scott, as he cannot resist her, and soon enough she finds her emotions in play big time. I really enjoyed this story, as I do all of Haynes erotic novels. They definitely are not for the faint of heart, but there is a romance being told and it isn't only about the action between the sheets. I found myself rooting for Trinity to get everything she wanted, and more, as she deserved to have happiness. Scott, who is older than her and has two teenage daughters, proves to be a good match for Trinity in that he pushes her to her limits and yet knows where the line is. There are a few side plots that add to the story, one including familial problems between Trinity's father and her brother.

I look forward to reading more novels from Jasmine Haynes in the future as she knows how to turn the heat up in her stories. SHOW AND TELL will definitely be going in the keeper pile!
