RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS: 4 Road Read

THE DESERT PRINCE'S PROPOSAL by Nicola Marsh is pure fun. A fast, wonderfully well-written read, it rekindles every fantasy about Prince Charming, exotic desert lands and being swept off my feet I ever had.

When a handsome stranger comes to Bria's rescue curbside at the airport, she has no way of knowing what seems to be a chance meeting may, in fact, be more contrived than she can imagine. Although it hardly matters; she shares a cab with her rescuer and when she finds they're fortuitously enjoying the accommodations of the same hotel, it seems rude to refuse the man's request she share dinner with him. What Bria doesn't know is that this is no ordinary man. He is a Prince who knows he must secure a wife—and soon. Bria, with her gorgeous eyes and intelligence, stirs his interest. But what Sam, the royal rescuer, can't know is that Bria is determined not to lose her heart to anyone—not even a prince.

While this story has been told before in lots of variations, this telling stands apart. Ms. Marsh's characters are quick-witted, intelligent and definitely have chemistry enough to make the romance sizzle. The setting is wonderful, with plenty of details to make it all come to life. THE DESERT PRINCE'S PROPOSAL is a great, bite-sized romance! Well done!
