The Sheikh's Unsuitable Bride by Liz Fielding

The single mom's new job: chauffeur to the sheikh!

Zahir was surprised to find he had a beautiful new driver. This chauffeur did not blend into the background. Oh, no. Diana Metcalfe talked. She laughed. She took him on unplanned detours. And he had more fun than he'd had in years.

But back in his desert kingdom, a dynastic marriage was being brokered for Zahir. Crazy though it seemed, he wished that this wonderful, vivacious, thoroughly unsuitable woman could be his bride instead.…

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS: Top Pick

THE SHEIKH'S UNSUITABLE BRIDE by Liz Fielding is sweet and charming, filled with characters who quickly find their way to the reader's heart. I was pulled into this story right from the get-go and the only disappointing thing about it was that it had to, all too quickly, end.

Diana is a single mother whose past still tortures her. She works hard to raise her young son properly. She is a chauffer who dreams of owning her own pink taxi, but is content to shuttle around school children in order to pay the bills. When illness strikes, she is given the job of driving a Sheikh, a far cry from her ordinary passengers.

I loved everything about this short, sexy romance. It is the typical girl-meets-handsome-Prince tale, but is so well written it is completely engaging and sublimely entertaining. Zahir is a dream, the kind of Prince that could make any woman swoon. His own inner struggle with what his family expects of him regarding marriage versus the feelings Diana evokes within him, is spellbinding. Until the last pages I wasn't certain how he would decide to deal with his attraction for Diana. I love a good mystery and although this is a new twist on an old story the uncertainty about the outcome was enough to hold my attention.

THE SHEIKH'S UNSUITABLE BRIDE is a quick read that completely satisfied every romantic craving this reader had. Well done!
