RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

I was hoping that QUEEN OF DRAGONS would be as good, if not better, than THE DREAM THIEF. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The romance, dialogue, and most especially the secret plot of drákon abduction, is stilted and confusing. Even though at the end everything is as resolved as it can be, in order to set up for the next book I am sure, it leaves me rather unsatisfied.

As for the characters in the book, I admit to guessing who the two secret players involved are early on, but it is still confusing to me as to what their roles are. I do like the hero and heroine, but their roles are set from birth without their consent and I find that to be distracting to their courtship. Well, it is not a courtship as much as it is an order to be together.

I like the Drakon series and want to continue with it. I just do not think QUEEN OF DRAGONS is the best of the bunch.
