Nina Bangs always finds a way to make me laugh and keep paranormal romance alive! ONE BITE STAND is a wonderful example of what a writer can do with some over-the-top characters, a creative mind and some good steamy sex scenes. Daria and Declan are ON FIRE and burning up the pages of this hot book!

Daria is a harpy with a problem—she is pretty, her butt isn't big and she is... wait for it.... nice. She is nothing that a harpy should be, and she has spent her entire life trying to live up to the uglier paranormal beings of her realm—all with little effect. So now that she has taken a job at the WooWoo Inn as a manager and she has a chance to snatch another being and take them to Hades, she is all for it! Finally, a chance to prove what a good harpy she is! But, as is the way with romance, things do not go exactly the way Daria has planned.

The changes to Daria's well planned snatching session come in the form of one drop-dead gorgeous vampire named Declan (and if I am totally honest, one cosmic troublemaker named Sparkle Stardust, as well). Declan is sexy, alpha to the core and one powerful son-of-a-gun who has no intention of allowing Daria to snatch him up and take him to Hades. He thinks he is bad to the bone and that no one is going to get to him, but for the first time in nine-hundred years he realizes that when he is with Daria, he actually feels things. He actually enjoys her company and wants more—much more—of her.
