When the idea of incorporating some of the anonymous lady's daring adventures into the sedate social season occurs, things begin to heat up for everyone concerned-quickly. It is the first time since her beloved Edward's death that Carolyn finds herself feeling the ache of passion. When the opportunity to indulge that passion arises, will she be able to eschew convention to satisfy the craving of her body?

CONFESSIONS AT MIDNIGHT is so well written, engaging and amusing, the story fairly leaps from the pages. The romantic passages are hot enough to make the reader blush without bringing offense and the love story is both bittersweet and uplifting. I enjoyed every moment of reading Jacquie D'Alessandro's CONFESSIONS AT MIDNIGHT. Truthfully, it kept me awake way past midnight-I couldn't go to sleep until I had finished the entire book!
