Amnesia had stolen millionaire businessman Donovan Keane's memory. But one look at treacherous beauty Susannah Horton, and Van could picture every delicious detail of the weekend they'd spent in his bed. She'd staged their affair to ruin an important deal—a deal about to go to her fiancé. Not that Van would let that happen.
During one hot night, he'd destroy her engagement, take back the deal and walk away with all the memories he'd need. Good thing, because he'd never be able to get her out of his mind. |
RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:
Under 200 pages, TYCOON'S ONE-NIGHT REVENGE by Bronwyn Jameson is the perfect quick read. It is an A-read, filled with alibis, amnesia, accidents and abduction. This story hits all the right keys and satisfies on every front. The sexual tension, emotional undercurrents and overwhelming attraction between Donovan and Susannah is palpable. Their past history is so well written that their current situation, and their heartfelt reactions to each other, seems very real.
Ms. Jameson has done an excellent job giving this story depth. While it is something that is often missing in shorter tales, that is not the case here. Susannah and Donovan are both fully developed and their situation drew this reader in instantly, mostly because I cared about these people right from the start. It is difficult to say much without giving a lot of the plot away, something I don't want to do here. I would prefer that lovers of armchair traveling (the story is set in Tasmania) and intriguing romance pick up and enjoy TYCOON'S ONE-NIGHT REVENGE for themselves. It is a choice, I believe, no fan of the genre will regret. Very well done!
