Reading FRENCH KISSING by Nancy Warren is like being served a meal in a fancy restaurant. Every aspect of the "meal" is first rate, from the introduction of the hero and heroine, the hook that was certainly enough to pull me into the story, to the intriguing plot that became even more engaging as it unraveled. The heat and chemistry between Kimi, a self-proclaimed girlie-girl fashionista, and Holden, whose undercover status among the high echelon of trendsetters at couture central isn't nearly as covert as he imagines, sizzles so hotly that I feared my eyes might burst into flames! Truly, this couple is one whose romance would be perfect anywhere—but even more so in Paris. Kimi is in Paris, at couture week. When she meets Holden, she knows instantly that he's not what he proclaims to be. No one could dress the way he does and be a fashion photographer. No one. Her instinct's correct, and a phone call from her boss clues her into the mystery that's got Holden going undercover. Every year, for the past five years, a pricey designer garment has been stolen during couture week. Holden, with Kimi's help, is planning to thwart the sticky-fingered fashion thief. The problem is that neither Kimi nor Holden can totally concentrate on much of anything once they've met each other. FRENCH KISSING is a fast, sexy read. I savored every yummy page, especially loving the sensual passages. This is the first novel by this author that I've read, but it won't be the last. FRENCH KISSING left me wanting more by Nancy Warren! Kay James |
