RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

If you're a fan of Angela Knight (like me), then you are going to love her new release, WARLORD! Between the pages of this book there is a full-length story called Jane's Warlord, a novella called Warfem and two short stories that are so hot, they need a warning label all their own! I loved this book, and each story is edgy and super sexy, exactly what I expect from Angela Knight's writing.

I'll begin with the full-length story, Jane's Warlord. All I can say is the hero, Baran, is H-O-T! He can come from the future and "save" me anytime. Unfortunately, I'm not that lucky and I doubt my husband would appreciate that; however, for Jane, that's exactly what happens to her. Baran is a warlord sent from the future to save her from a murdering futuristic serial killer whose next victim is Jane.

Baran and Jane must work together to stop this madman while trying to diffuse this sexual spark between them. This story isn't for the faint of heart—it's a bit gruesome, at times, that's for sure. As graphic as the story is, the romance and sex between Barn and Jane definitely helps you forget that both of their lives are in danger. It's a perfect blend of terror, action and romance. While I did find some of the story a bit confusing at first, it was easy to understand what was going on in no time as it progressed. Jane's Warlord is a great story and one that I would love to see made into a series!

Angela Knight's novella is called Warfem. This is another great story with two incredibly sexy people—Anita and Baird. What drew me into their story is the history that they had together, and after being apart for so long they still carry an intense attraction toward each other. This is a straight-up erotic science fiction story. Again, it may take you a couple of paragraphs to really grasp the plot of the story; it takes me a little bit longer to deal with the lingo and dialogue of a sci-fi story than with any other genre of romance. I didn't let that hinder my enjoyment one bit. It's sexy and dangerous, and written with Angela Knight's sensuous voice.

Now I can talk about the two very short stories that flank WARLORD—Warlord and the Fem and Baby, You've Changed. These stories are also sci-fi but completely erotic! I love Angela Knight 's naughty side and she can write graphic sex scenes like no other. Seriously, these stories are more graphic in content than the full-length story and novella in this book. However, if you read Angela Knight's books, then you know her writing style and won't be surprised at the intensity of these two stories!

WARLORD is a fantastic book and is sitting rather nicely on my bookshelf, right by my other Angela Knight books. Do I give it a Top Pick? Of course!
