Haley Marie Holmes is the parameteorologist that has been assigned to discover the truth about Remy Begnaud's control over the weather. From the moment the two meet, there is an electrifying current that flows between them that has nothing to do with the weather outside. Her job requires her to get the information by any means possible. She must gain his trust before the enemy finds him. She has no problem seducing him, but she did not count on falling in love.

Remy feels that he is cursed. His passion brings on the fury of the weather and storms increase his need for release. He has very little control over his abilities and fears what will happen to a woman if he releases all his passion during a storm. Finding a beautiful woman in his home at the beginning of a big storm is the last thing he needs.

RIDING THE STORM by Sydney Croft, is a fury of electrifying passion and exciting action. Two wonderful characters share an amazing chemistry that is expressed in many heated and delightfully erotic scenes. I was held captive by this amazing story with its wonderful plot, and found that I just could not put it down.

Remy is a man who believes he is cursed, and it does seem that way in the beginning. I was amazed by his abilities and sadden by their affects over his life. The passion that he was able to share with Haley allowed me to believe he could find happiness, but I worried over the fact that she was using him.

Haley will do anything for her job. It may be for the good of everyone that she recruits Remy, but I found it made me not trust her. Here is a man that has been hurt and mistreated for something he has no control over, and she sets out to seduce him and use him. As she becomes more emotionally involved, I found myself glad that the two found each other.

The action and excitement in RIDING THE STORM is amazing. It made me think of something right out of a comic book or action movie. The characters with their special abilities held me spellbound, waiting to see what they would be able to do next. RIDING THE STORM by Sydney Croft is a definite keeper for the readers of erotic romance.
