IMMORTALS: THE GATHERING is the final book in the first quartet of the Immortals series. If you loved the series, yes, it will be back! Dorchester has signed the authors for more books in the series. Ashley pulls out all the stops in this novel as she gathers the threads (and characters) from the first three books and provides a spectacular finish to the initial series.

Leda, the witch heroine of this tale, has the taint of dark magic on her. She bargained with a demon to save her husband's life, thereby ruining her relationship with the Coven of Light and wrecking her marriage. She has hidden herself away on an island, and is shocked to find a beautiful man there with her one day. First she assumes he's out to get her, but he turns out to be a protector—the Immortal, Hunter. As with all the Immortal men, he is as irresistible sexually as he is a kick ass fighter.

Of the four books in the series, this one is the best romance. Hunter is the most vulnerable of the Immortals featured as heroes in the series, and genuinely needs Leda's help as much as she needs his.

I thought IMMORTALS: THE GATHERING was full of suspense and excitement, with excellent-quality writing. Ashley is developing into a star!
