Driven by Eve Kenin

Raina Bowen knows she can handle herself just fine against anything the harsh Northern Waste throws at her. Until it throws her an enigmatic stranger called Wizard. First, she has to haul him out of a brawl he can't hope to win. And next, her libido is shooting into overdrive at the feel of his hard body pressed against hers on the back of her snowscooter. But there's something not quite right about this guy. Before she can strip bare Wizard's secrets, they're lured into a race for their lives, battling rival truckers, ice pirates... and a merciless maniac with a very personal vendetta.

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS: 4 Rose Read

DRIVEN is quite the interesting read. Kenin, a pseudonym for Eve Silver, delivers an action-packed adventure that contains not only romance, but also has great sexual chemistry between its main characters.

Raina Bowen is a trucker who is out to destroy businessman and presidential advisor Duncan Bane, a man who destroyed her youth. The storyline takes place in the future after the Second Nobel War, which has killed off a third of the Earth's population. Raina finds aid in the unlikely source of a mercenary known only as Wizard. Raina is drawn to Wizard for unknown reasons, and the sexual tension and chemistry smolders between the two. While hauling her rig up to the Northern Wasteland, Raina and Wizard set about trying to bring down the man responsible for destroying her past.

DRIVEN will entertain lovers of most genres. Romance readers will find a spellbinding, gripping story that promises enough sex to melt the pages from the book. Adventure and science fiction lovers will find an action-packed, thrilling storyline that delivers page after page. This is my first novel by Kenin and I was not disappointed. I was a bit lost when I started the book, but quickly grasped the storyline. While DRIVEN is not a Top Pick read for me because I do not care for science fiction, it was superbly written and fun to read.
