A Touch of Minx by Suzanne Enoch

A year ago, Samantha Jellicoe robbed from the rich and gave ... to herself! Now, though, she's using her larcenous skills for good as a private security consultant, trying to walk the high road for her sexy billionaire boyfriend, Richard Addison, and asking herself if there's anything more torturous than tracking down priceless artifacts (only to give them back!).

So when the Metropolitan Museum of Art asks for her help, she's only too happy to leap into the fray again: If nothing else, this adventure will help her avoid that little (not!) sparkly item Rick's been hiding in his pocket, and postpone another kind of walk—down the aisle. Its only when she's targeted by a deadly adversary after the same treasure that Sam starts to think that "till death do you part" is maybe the lesser of two evils ...

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS: Top Pick

Outstanding! Enoch writes the next saga for team Rick and Samantha, a continuation from BILLIONAIRES PREFER BLONDES, published last year.

Samantha is a retired cat burglar, who is now specializing in installing security systems and accepts tracking her first art "thief" for the MET in New York City. If she succeeds at tracking the stolen merchandise, this can mean a new line of work for her and will provide the adrenaline rush she misses from her cat burglar days. Rick, Samantha's billionaire boyfriend, will do just about anything to keep Samantha on the straight, law abiding side of life and keep her safe. He can be overprotective, but he loves Samantha with a passion. As Samantha is attempting to track down the stolen items, she involves Rick in helping her with the search, for his own sanity and to keep him from locking her up and throwing away the key in order to keep her safe. Samantha and Rick embark on a journey that promises romance, murder, and danger all in one.

A TOUCH OF MINX is just awesome. I am a loyal follower of Enoch's series about Rick and Samantha, and each tale seems to get better, building on each other and strengthening Samantha and Rick's love. I have watched Samantha go from being commitment phobic to accepting Rick's proposal of marriage in the last four books. The stories are fun—they are sexy and they are adventurous. Set primarily in Palm Beach, Florida, the reader gets not only a hot climate, but a hot plot. You could not ask for a better read!
