Moon's Fury by C.T. Adams & Cathy Clamp

Cara Salinas, the sheriff of Tedford County, Texas, has led her small pack of Mexican red wolves since she was thirteen.

Adam Mueller, a beat cop from Minneapolis, violated the Sazi’s single greatest rule—he allowed humans to see their kind, and must now lead his exiled timber wolves to start a new life with Cara’s pack.

From the moment they met, Cara and Adam knew that that they would either be fated mates or the deadliest of enemies. But there is no time for feuding or romance—because a flock of vicious Sazi raptors has begun to feed on human flesh. Can Cara and Adam embrace their future together and save theri people, or will they begin a war that coul d destroy them all?

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS: Top Pick

If my favorite hit-man, Tony Giodone or Giambrocco, whatever you prefer, is in any way featured in a Sazi novel, I know I am going to love it! For some reason Adams and Clamp write better when Tony is in the mix, even just a little bit. I am so glad that is the case with MOON'S FURY.

Set in a tiny, made-up Texas town, the story boasts some pretty creative characters, fabulous writing, and the strange yet compelling plot(s) I look forward to reading from these authors. They give the super sexy hero and his feisty heroine some great scenes, and I have to say they are almost as engaging of a couple as Tony and Sue. Their chemistry and sense of duty to their packs make the book.

MOON'S FURY has to go down as one of my top three Sazi novels because it has everything a book should be, whether it is a paranormal, contemporary, historical, or whatever. It is creative, climatic, and passionate. Oh, and of course, it has Tony.
