No Holding Back by Liz Allison & Wendy Etherington

She has only one weakness . . .

Isabel Turner knows how perilous the professional racing world can be—on and off the track. As a PR executive representing NASCAR's top drivers, she spent years proving her worth. Now, as she's about to take over her uncle's high-powered position at the firm, Isabel stands to lose her reputation, job and her uncle's respect—just to have racer Cade Garrison in her bed once more.

There's no denying the combustible yet forbidden attraction between the two. Cade is more than tempted, but the last thing the bad boy of the Garrison family racing team needs is another scandal jeopardizing his career. Are they foolish enough to risk it all?

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS: 4 Rose Read

NO HOLDING BACK was an interesting read. This novel is part of the Nascar Library Collection and a collective approach from authors Liz Allison and Wendy Etherington, who also wrote THE GIRL'S GUIDE TO NASCAR.

Isabel Turner is a PR executive representing some of NASCAR's top drivers, a loyal racing fan, and a very career driven lady. She had a one night stand with Cade Garrison, a race car driver and bad boy of the legendary Garrison racing family. Isabel would give just about anything to have just one more night with Cade, and Cade wants more than one night with Isabel, but with her job and his position as a driver, it violates the Code of Ethics for both NASCAR and for Isabel's company. When Cade suggests they keep their budding romance a secret, Isabel jumps at the chance to spend more time with Cade, both in bed and out of it. However, when Isabel and Cade fall in love, Isabel finds that she must choose between the man she loves and the job that she has given everything to. She risks losing the respect of her family and coworkers, while Cade risks disappointing his family again.

NO HOLDING BACK was sweet. It is a very clean romance, one that did not explore any descriptions of the sexual chemistry between Cade and Isabel. I was a bit disappointed in that. Cade and Isabel have a suggestive HUGE sexual chemistry and I would have enjoyed a few "naughty" scenes.

Overall, this was a good read for me, and as I am one who has never watched NASCAR, this opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me.
