LOGAN'S REDEMPTION is the new contemporary romance by author Cara Marsi. It's a sexy, suspenseful and dramatic story about a woman who was left by the man she loved, only to have him return to her years later. The writing is intelligent, the characters are intense and well written, and the plot takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride. This is a terrific romantic contemporary from an author to be on the lookout for!

Doriana Callahan is the Vice President of Project Development, a division of Callahan Construction. Recently, the company has had a run of bad luck and the CEO, Dan Callahan, Doriana's father, believes someone is trying to sabotage the company. He hires private detective Logan Tanner to fill in for Doriana's assistant, who is going on maternity leave, and work undercover to find out if it's an inside job. What Dan doesn't know is that Doriana and Logan have a history together, and Logan's return to his hometown and to Doriana is going to bring unexpected results.

Logan and Doriana have emotional scars that need to be healed. He left her when she was still young, and what he doesn't know is that when he left, she was pregnant with his child. Now, sixteen years later, Logan walks back into her life and she needs to do some soul searching and decide if she can trust him again—with her heart and now with their son. But for Doriana, there's more than just dealing with Logan's return—she's also being stalked. She's going to need Logan's protection more than ever.

Logan is an honorable man that unfortunately had a bad childhood. Doriana comes from a wealthy family that would have disapproved of her relationship with a man from the wrong side of the tracks. Logan and Doriana's reunion is bittersweet. There are a lot of issues that need to be resolved between them. I found the times that they were alone together to deal with the past a highlight of the story. I have to admit that the sexual tension between the two of them really kept me turning the pages.

LOGAN'S REDEMPTION by Cara Marsi is a great read, plain and simple. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and I definitely give it a Top Pick!
