What a refreshing novel! However, you must be a fantasy reader in order to understand this story, as Day creates an alternative universe in which the mortals will have to work with nonmortals to rid the world of the threat of vampires.

Enter Erin. Erin's life has been full of pain and strife. Erin's heart is filled with vengeance and she would like to join forces with Ven, the chief amongst a group of Atlanteans. While the mighty warrior reveals his real reason for seeking vengeance, he has a human woman with a great head on her shoulders who might be able to help Ven in the long run.

ATLANTIS AWAKENING was definitely different with a lot going on. I believe the audience would enjoy this book because it contains a little bit of every element. You have suspense, romance, action, friendship, and even betrayal. The book is compelling and sexy to a point.

I think ATLANTIS AWAKENING is easy to follow so if someone is wanting to get into light paranormal romance reading, this is a great place to start. I enjoyed it immensely, and I think other readers would also find it fascinating.
