Real Vampires Have Curves by Gerry Bartlett

What—did you think all vamps were pale, thin and brooding? Don't I wish.

Gloriana St. Clair is an eternally "full-figured" vampire—she just happened to be bloating when a sexy Scotsman sank his teeth into her. She and said Scot—Angus Jeremiah Campbell III, aka Jeremy Blade—have been on and off again for centuries, currently off. A couple hundred years has taught them how to press each other's buttons—in good ways and bad.

Glory's headed for Austin and a new business venture: Vintage Vamp's Emporium. After all, she loves clothes, and she is an antique. Only problem is, there's a billionaire techno-freak vampire hunter on the loose. Blade's in total he-vampire mode, and wants Glory to move in with him so he can "protect" her. But it's time for this vamp to explore her own powers.

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

Okay, paranormal lovers. It's time to put down those dark and brooding vampire, werewolf, and changeling books that you know you are in the middle of reading. I'll wait. Don't forget to use a bookmarker; I wouldn't want to be responsible for you loosing your place. Back? Good. I have a book to tell you about that you are going to love! Trust me.

REAL VAMPIRES HAVE CURVES is a sexy, smart and lively contemporary paranormal romance written by Gerry Bartlett. The plot is engaging, the characters are stimulating (not to mention, so is the sex) and the writing is sharp.

Glory St. Claire is one hot, curvaceous vampire! She's sassy, sexy and somewhat single. Having been "turned" centuries ago by a hunky Scotsman, Jeremy Blade, Glory is forever warding off Jeremy's advances and trying to prove that she is more than capable of taking care of herself. When an evil vampire hunter begins a savage killing spree, Glory may have no choice but to have Jeremy take care of her—not that it's a real hardship on her part.

But there's more to this great story than that little tidbit I gave you. REAL VAMPIRES HAVE CURVES has its surprises. Wait until Glory begins to show her powers! There's sex, too. That always makes a book worth reading. Gerry Bartlett took an age-old vampire tale, gave it an updated and clever twist, and made this story her own.

It was a breath of fresh air to read a paranormal that wasn't dark and brooding. I enjoyed reading REAL VAMPIRES HAVE CURVES; I can't wait for the next book in the series to come. If you are in the mood for a change from what you are used to reading, I would definitely recommend giving Gerry Bartlett's new release a try.
