RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

I just finished reading one of the best romances so far of this year. That honor goes to Gayle Callen and the final book in her Sisters of Willow Pond trilogy, THE VISCOUNT IN HER BEDROOM. I absolutely loved this book. If you like Teresa Medeiros' YOURS UNTIL DAWN (which happens to be one of my all time favorite books), then you are going to fall in love with THE VISCOUNT IN HER BEDROOM! I loved this book so much that after I read it, I skimmed through it again.

You are going to read THE VISCOUNT IN HER BEDROOM in one sitting. I know you will because I did! I couldn't put it down and I had to know what was going to happen next. The story is so romantic and touching that I was in the middle of the book before I knew it. It is simply a great read!

Simon, Lord Wade, is one of my new favorite heroes. He was thrown from a horse and ended up loosing his eyesight. He has taken up residence with his grandmother and sister. Declaring that he will never marry, he spends his days focusing on his work and his nights alone.

Louisa Shelby has been hired as a companion to Simon's grandmother. She remembers Simon and still finds him utterly attractive. However, she finds a sadness and emptiness when she looks into his eyes. The more time she spends with Simon and his family, the more she finds herself growing fond of him.

With Louisa's presence always around, Simon feels he is slowly becoming the man he used to be again. He also finds himself attracted to Louisa, but he knows that those feelings must never be acted upon. Simon also knows something about Louisa, and he must not let her spend too much time alone in the same company as his younger sister.

While the sexual tension increases between Simon and Louisa, so do the rumors of Louisa's character. I have to stop right there! No way am I going to give away any more of this wonderful story.

You will fall in love with Simon. You will cry—a couple of times. You will sigh. You will get goose bumps. You will want to savor every page of this book. I know I did!

What a way for Gayle Callen to end her Sisters of Willow Pond Trilogy! Think of THE VISCOUNT IN HER BEDROOM as the finale of a Fourth of July Fireworks display.
