It's like Cathy Yardley mined my life story for her June Harlequin Blaze release. A type-A young thing, a former male model trying to make his way in the business world. of course, her version ends much better than mine did, plus there was much hot sex to enjoy between slick business maneuvering. But the angst and tension and overtime, yes, it's all there.

This book is set in the trenches of the cosmetic industry and Yardley clearly knows how down and dirty business gets, not to mention how seemingly placid business conferences often turn into meat markets with a strong sexual overtone.

One deeper question addressed in the book is whether you would choose business over love, or family over love. The stakes are high on all fronts in this book, and it doesn't seem likely that everyone can be a winner.
