Master of Dragons by Angela Knight

In her youth, fairy princess Nineva Morrow engaged in magic, and evil forces rendered her an orphan—isolated and incapable of trusting in anyone's survival. But after years of hiding on Earth, she attracts attention with her powers once more—from more knights than she can handle.

Now, at the center of a rebellious Mageverse noble's plot and helplessly dominated by a powerful, body-possessing spirit, Nineva's only hope is the smoldering dragon knight Kel. This renegade of Arthur's court has enough desire to burn down every door to her heart—if the surrounding forces of King Llyr would subside long enough to let him.

The survival of the Mageverse hangs in a passionate balance of entitlement and pleasure, with destruction threatening to bring an entire magical universe to its knees...

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

I have been waiting to read MASTER OF DRAGONS by Angela Knight for months now. Being a huge fan of her Mageverse series, I've read each book in the series and they are all keepers on my bookshelf. Ah, but Kel's story was one that I had the hardest time waiting for. Kel, the dragon who was magically stuck in Gawain's sword in Knight's 2006 release, MASTER OF SWORDS, is now living life free from the sword and enjoying both his human and dragon forms. I knew Angela had something special in store for Kel, and MASTER OF DRAGONS is her something special.

I love Kel. He's a great alpha male/dragon. He's sexy, sultry (a bit scaly at times) and he loves women. But there's one woman who is going to rock his world and change his life, and that is the Last Avatar of the Goddess, Nineva Morrow. Nineva is a kick-ass heroine who ends up attracting some very bad attention while using her magic a bit too powerfully.

Here's where knowledge of the other books in Angela Knight's series comes in handy. There is a lot of stuff going on here in this story, and just being familiar with her world and what has previously transpired in it would help you fully appreciate the tale that is unfolding. Don't get me wrong, MASTER OF DRAGONS stands alone—well, it may need a crutch here and there, but it does hold up well as a separate book.

If you've read the other books, you will love this story, hands down! Kel is an intense character, as is Nineva. There is a potential war brewing, some Gods and Goddesses that are waiting to exude their power, and a couple of friends that I'm sure you'll recognize, all coming together in between the pages of Knights fifth Mageverse book, MASTER OF DRAGONS.

Many thanks to Angela Knight for keeping this series sexy and unique.
