I can honestly say that Michelle Bardsley's DON'T TALK BACK TO YOUR VAMPIRE was one of the best books I have read in a long time. I had been on quite the slump reading-wise before opening this book, but let me tell you, I am officially cured!

Eva Leroy is a single mom in the little town of Broken Heart (love the name), Oklahoma, just trying to make a life for herself and her kid when a creature tears through town "killing" parents. So now, Eva is a vampire mom with a funky ability to communicate with animals and a very disturbing attraction to the vamp who turned her.

Lorcan... ahhh... Do you hear the wistful sigh? The man is a god. He made my blood a tinge on the hot side all the way through the reading. I truly believe I have a crush! Cocky, self assured and gorgeous—this man knows how to handle a woman. When he shows up hurt on Eva's doorstep, she has no choice but to take him in—even if she is partly scared of him—but mostly turned on by him. His very presence disturbs her on so many levels she has no idea how to react to him.

From moment number one, Eva and Lorcan's chemistry is HOT! So, I just cranked up the AC and kept on trucking right through this awesome book! Michelle Bardsley couldn't have done it better with DON'T TALK BACK TO YOUR VAMPIRE and she has made a fan of of me!
