 RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:
I normally love Heather Graham books. In fact, I have every book written by her on my bookshelf. However, after reviewing BLOOD RED, I am confused. This book was a very difficult read for me and I had a very hard time keeping my attention span on the story.
On a second note, the characters are somewhat simple and there does not seem to be enough history to build on the character relationships. The plot is also slow to develop, but once you get through the first few chapters, the pace does pick up. Graham writes an excellent conflict when good verses evil. In fact, I think they may have been the best part of this book.
Overall, BLOOD RED is an okay read. But, I was disappointed because this author normally delivers an awesome story.
