Paranormal readers, you're going to be in for a treat when you read Catherine Spangler's new release, TOUCHED BY DARKNESS. It has a great mix of hot romance and paranormal aspects.

Before you begin to read TOUCHED BY DARKNESS, read the Glossary of Terms at the beginning of the book. The definitions are an incredible help and I was able to follow the story with much more ease.

Catherine Spangler took the legend of Atlantis and made it her own, then incorporated it into a supernatural romance. It worked incredibly well and the proof is in between the pages of TOUCHED BY DARKNESS.

Kara Cantrell has found her niche in the tiny town of Zorro, Texas. She and her son Alex live a happy life in the confines of this town, until the day that she's been dreading finally comes. Alex isn't like other little boys, but his father wasn't like any other man Kara has met. She knows that this tall, dark haired man is out to get Alex.

Damian Morgan is a good guy, literally. He's a sentinel and now he's out to protect Kara and her son from the evil forces out to get them. The only problem is that Damian has to gain Kara's trust and convince her that only by working together they can help her son.

Damian and Kara are a perfect match—both are strong and independent characters. The pages really heat up when they come together! The love for Kara's son and the determination to keep him safe is the driving force behind this story, and you can truly believe that Damian and Kara will do whatever it takes to keep him safe.

Catherine Spangler's TOUCHED BY DARKNESS is a satisfying paranormal read. The story is easy to follow, the characters are intriguing and the sex is out of this world! A recommended read, in my opinion.
