I love a good vampire story, and do I have one to recommend to you! THE REST FALLS AWAY is the first book of debut author Colleen Gleason's The Gardella Vampire Chronicles. This book is an awesome read because not only is it exciting and funny at times, it is also dramatic and emotional. The ending is phenomenal and quite unexpected. I'm thrilled to be able to give it a TOP PICK!

Without giving too much of the story away, I will tell you that if you love Buffy the Vampire Slayer, you are totally going to love THE REST FALLS AWAY! Can you imagine being told you are a vampire slayer on the heels of your delayed debut? For Victoria Gardella Grantworth, it is her family legacy. Accepting her fate, Victoria regales the ton during the day, and roams the wicked back streets of London at night. As Victoria is training and learning that she must fight the most dangerous of all vampires, something unexpected happens to her—she ends up falling in love with the most sought after bachelor of the season.

The Marquess of Rockley, Phillip de Lacy, is turning all the ladies heads this season, but his heart belongs to that shy girl who he shared a brief friendship with years ago. Now that Phillip has found her, she is even more intriguing as a young lady coming out! Soon, he and Victoria are courting, and it doesn't take long for him to propose marriage. There's only one problem—he doesn't know that Victoria is a vampire slayer!

Victoria has come to a point in her life where she wants to marry and still continue with her legacy as vampire slayer. Victoria will learn the hard way what it truly means to make a sacrifice!

What a fantastic book! It is one that you aren't going to be able to put down. The last chapters of THE REST FALLS AWAY are an emotional rollercoaster. Without giving anything away, I will say that Colleen Gleason knows how to write a finale that will take your breath away!

I highly recommend reading Colleen Gleason's debut book, THE REST FALLS AWAY! I cannot wait to read the next book in this awesome series!
