The Greek's Bridal Purchase by Susan Stephens

Miranda Weston is recovering from the injuries that have ended her career, so she's stunned when Greek billionaire Theo Savakis pursues her. What can one of the world's most powerful and eligible men want with her?

Theo needs a wife—fastor he'll forfeit his inheritance, and lovely but broken Miranda is the perfect choice. But Theo hasn't counted on the passion that flares between them…or on Miranda learning the truth about how he set out to buy her for marriage!

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

I'll say this much for THE GREEK'S BRIDAL PURCHASE—it's packin' one heck of a testosterone laden alpha male in the form of a handsome and sexy Greek tycoon named Theo Savakis. He can come break some bread, eat a little feta cheese and drink ouzo at my house any old time he gets ready. Don't I wish!

Ms. Stephens creates an alpha-male character that's as delectable as a piece of rich, deep dark chocolate. The melt-in-your-mouth kind of chocolate. So many of the leading men in these Greek tycoon themed stories are so machismo that it's really hard to keep yourself from wanting to slap some sense into their overly chauvinistic heads. But Theo's different, more bendable, more "human" and approachable without once losing his aura of masculinity. This is an uber male if ever there was one.

Susan Stephens does a great job with this book, all the way around. How she manages to develop her characters to the extent that they are in such a short amount of writing space, is very impressive. All the characters, not just the main ones, are well developed and important to the storyline. The dialogue's excellent and I even enjoyed Miranda, who seemed to complete and bring out the best in Theos whenever the two interacted.

As for the story itself, it was very believable. Theos and Miranda as a couple were a perfect fit. And by showcasing Theos in all his elementshis work, his family, his marriage of necessityand outlining both his strengths and the flaws in his character, Stephens made him the real standout character in this story.

It just makes reading so much more enjoyable when all the elements in a book click, and they certainly do in this one. A fairly quick read that also features some hot and sensual love scenes, I've no reservations whatsoever in recommending this little gem of book. I hoist my ouzo to THE GREEK'S BRIDAL PURCHASE, and hope you get the chance to enjoy it, too.
