Jenesi Ash puts a spin on her new erotic novel CHAIN REACTION. Although it's not separated into four short stories, that's essentially what it is. Ash wrote about a mysterious chain letter that is sent to four different women in the hopes that the contents of the letter will help them become uninhibited in their sex life.

Amber, Sienna, Tiffany, and Grace have each been sent this chain letter, and inside the package are a lovely purple silk scarf and a rather interesting note. Now it's up to each lady to use the scarf during a sexual encounter within seven days and see if it they can live out their ultimate sexual fantasy.

Each woman has issues. Amber is too busy at work to pay much mind as to when and how much sex she's having. On the outside, Sienna is always prim and proper, but on the inside her sexual fantasies include being tied up. Tiffany has some control issues, while Grace just really wants to have sex with a man, since she's been in a dry spell for so long.

It's safe to say that these woman use the scarf, and what follows is mind blowing S-E-X! While the sex was good, the stories themselves left me wanting more. It would have been nice if CHAIN REACTION were made into an anthology instead of one chapter right after the next. It didn't feel as if there was much of any closure at all for these four women, except for knowing that now they're all having satisfying sex. I really enjoyed Sienna and Grace's story, and it would have been nice to know what happens the next day or week. It left me feeling, at times, very disappointed.

So, how do I review this erotic book? If I base my review on the quality and quantity of sex, it would receive a Top Pick. Jenesi Ash can write erotic books, there's no doubt about that! However, I wasn't satisfied with the ending for each woman that was featured, and not each woman was very likable. So, if I was to review it based merely on those aspects, I wouldn't give it even Four Roses. However, I did like Ash's writing, I did like the erotic sex, and I loved the four men in the book who took the chance on these ladies and helped them discover and release their sexuality.

Based on that, Jenesi Ash's CHAIN REACTION receives Four Roses from this reviewer. Women who love the steamier side of romance will enjoy this book, and although I found some flaws, I cannot deny that is was written really well. What do you expect from an author such as Susanna Carr? Susanna's secret is out, which never really was a secret. Susanna Carr writes under the pen name Jenesi Ash, and if you love her romantic contemporaries, no doubt you'll love her erotic romances, too!
