WHEN SEDUCING A SPY Author: Sari Robins ISBN: 006078248X 4/2007 HISTORICAL Publisher: AVON
Sari Robins' new release, WHEN SEDUCING A SPY, is a great Regency read with a rather unique plot and interesting characters. With all the paranormal books invading the market now, I savored reading each page of this book! I'm afraid that I will always love historical books, and Sari Robins writes the kinds of books I love to read. In WHEN SEDUCING A SPY, we meet two former friends, widow Lady Tess Golding and Officer of the Crown Heath Bartlett. While Tess had to survive the ton's harsh scrutiny over the death of her cheating husband, she is now enjoying the hard earned freedom of living as an independent woman. However, she is not without secrets that she keeps hidden from everybody. While years have passed since Heath and Tess were friends, their unexpected reunion brings back memories that have long since been forgotten. Having been thrown together again, Heath is about to disrupt her way of living. He is out to investigate Tess since she has been accused of theft. What he founds out is more than what he could ever have bargained for, because aside from her outside façade, Tess is a warm and passionate woman. Tess and Heath come together like magnets and their love for one another is the center of this story. The twists and turns the plot takes on helps make WHEN SEDUCING A SPY a smooth an enjoyable read. Sari Robins gave such warmth and charm to her characters, not to mention some surprises to the story line. All in all, a very good read! I would recommend reading Sari Robins' WHEN SEDUCING A SPY.
