REAL WOMEN DON'T WEAR SIZE 2 Author: Kelley St. John ISBN: 0446617210 9/2006 CONTEMPORARY Publisher: WARNER FOREVER
Kelley St.John is an up and coming author to be on the lookout for. Her sophomore release, REAL WOMEN DON'T WEAR SIZE 2 is as entertaining as it is funny and sexy! It's a great book to take to the beach or read by the pool—if the sun is not hot enough for you, this book will be! Clarise Robinson has everything going for her professionally. She's head of the woman's department store at Eubank's Elegant Apparel, she's the top sales person and she has an incredible repartee with her boss, Ethan Eubanks. If only Ethan could see her as a sexy woman—a sexy, curvaceous woman, that is—maybe they would have a chance at a relationship together. Clarise has a plan to catch Ethan's attention once and for all—it's called the spectacular red holiday dress. Ethan cannot believe he hasn't noticed how beautiful Clarise is up until now, standing in the back wearing that phenomenal red dress he suggested she buy for the party. Three years they've been friends and only now does he see her for the voluptuous beauty that she is. Could they possible be more than friends? When Ethan finds Clarise in Tampa at the annual Gasparilla Pirate Festival more than a little tipsy, he takes her back to her hotel room and discovers that Clarise wants him. Wants him on the beach, in the bleachers, in the shower—oh, and she just added in the elevator, too. Ethan is about to make her fantasies come true! Clarise and Ethan make the perfect couple, especially in the bedroom! To compliment them is an array of eccentric friends and family members. St. John chose an exciting background for Clarise and Ethan to fall in love. Knowing that the Gasparilla Pirate Festival is an actual event made her story more genuine. REAL WOMEN DON'T WEAR SIZE 2 at times is so painfully funny, that I had to put the book down and wipe the tears from my eyes. Aside from the humor, St.John writes a touching love story between a woman embracing her curves and the man who will embrace her. I suggest embracing Kelley St. John's REAL WOMEN DON'T WEAR SIZE 2!
