What a great surprise I found between the pages of Emma Sanders HOLDING FAST! HOLDING FAST is a perfect combination of suspense and romance! It was hard to put down because I became so involved with the story. Pick up a copy and you'll understand what I mean!

Caitlyn is a journalist who is about to take on her most difficult story yet, and it involves her ex-fiancé, race car driver Wesley Webb. It's been an emotional ten years since she has seen him, and that memory still haunts her. She hasn't truly gotten over their romance and now that she has to come face to face with him, the encounter is going to bring back everything she's been trying to suppress.

Wesley Webb is a famous race car driver. He's put the past behind him and his passion is his sport. When he sees Caitlyn, his world is going to turn upside down. Now he has no choice but to face his own personal demons as well as face his beautiful ex that he abruptly left in the hospital ten years ago.

Soon Wesley and Caitlyn's worlds collide, and in the mist of their tumultuous reunion is a series of murders where Wesley happens to be the prime suspect. Now they have to uncover secrets that could tear Wesley apart, and the fragile bond that he and Caitlyn now share could also be destroyed.

I just loved this book! I loved Wesley and Caitlyn. Sanders did a wonderful job explaining what happened in their past without disrupting the continuity of the story. Sanders not only wrote a wonderfully romantic story about two lovers being reunited, but she also wrote a murder/mystery story that will keep you guessing until the end!

HOLDING FAST was just a fantastic book that drew me in and didn't let go until I read the last page! It definitely gets a Top Pick from me.
