SEDUCED BY THE NIGHT Author: Robin T. Popp ISBN: 0446616273 6/2006 PARANORMAL Publisher: WARNER FOREVER
SEDUCED BY THE NIGHT didn't really seduce me. Truly, I am on the fence with this one, because it's a borderline read. Meaning, some of it's borderline boring and predictable, while some of it is cool and strange. It has its interesting points. When a story contains something about the mythical Chupacabra in it, it should be. It is also unique in that it puts a spin on how "real" vampires are made. Unfortunately, the love story lacks depth and connection, and the villain isn't all that scary. Well, at least not compared to other books I have read. Perhaps I am just jaded. Anyway, if you like the author or the preceding book, OUT OF THE NIGHT, pick this one up. If you don't, well, it's not a huge loss. Shannon Johnson |
