What do you have when you mix an edge of your seat thriller with a hot and sexy romance? You get the new novel BLIND SPOT by Lynn Romaine. BLIND SPOT is a definite page-turner and hard to put down. Fans of romantic thrillers will not be disappointed! BLIND SPOT is the story of two strangers who give in to their more basic needs and have a one-night stand. Four years later, Sofie Novakoff is the proud, single mother of Katya. Katya is the result of that one night of hot, drunken sex she had with bomb squad cop Jack Roselli. Now she has to turn to Jack for the protection of their daughter, the daughter that he is just going to find out he has. What is Jack to do? Can he believe the story coming from Sofie? How can he be sure that she's just not making it all up so that she can get some financial compensation from their mistake four years ago. It doesn't take long for Jack to attempt to trust Sofie, and after seeing Katya he knows that just from her looks alone she is his daughter. He does all he can to protect them, but deep inside he hopes that Sofie is really telling the truth—because he can't seem to find any evidence that their lives are really endangered. Sofie is an extremely likable character. She's sweet, caring, an incredible mother and just an all around nice woman. Jack may seem rough on the outside, but he's definitely all man inside. He's sure someone who I wouldn't mind protecting me! When Sofie and Jack are together, the air around them is highly sexually charged. You know it's only a matter of time before they begin where they left off four years ago. Aside from the romance in the story, there is a mystery to be solved. Is there really someone stalking Sophie and Katya? If so, who and why? With very little evidence to go on, Jack is doing the best he can to unravel this mystery before someone gets hurt. BLIND SPOT by Lynn Romaine is a very good read. I loved trying to solve the mystery, I loved the romance and I especially loved how well they were both intertwined in the story. I would recommend reading it! Julie Kornhausl |
