Viva Las Bad Boys by Helenkay Dimon

JACKPOT
Jack McAllister is looking to get lucky on his vacation, and the jilted bride sitting at the slot machine next to him just might be his answer. Getting her up to his room is a breeze. Ditto getting her out of that formal, white dress. Laying eyes on her investigator’s license…also surprisingly easy. Laine Monroe isn’t a bride at all. The pretty blonde P.I. has been hired to catch Jack in a compromising position. Lucky for her, Jack’s all too willing to compromise…

PLAYER’S CLUB
Jenna Barrister didn’t become Director of Human Resources by being a pushover. So why is her first task—firing playboy super-chef Zach Jacobs—proving so hard? He’s a bad boy, a rules breaker who has enjoyed one guest too many, and he needs to go. But when the lights suddenly go out in the hotel, Jenna’s resolve crumbles and so do her inhibitions. She wants to experience the heat, and the sexy, rebellious chef knows just how to turn it up…

TWO OF A KIND
With his easy charm and roguish smile, Alex Mitchell thinks he has the Berkley Casino Assistant Manager position all wrapped up—until Caroline Rogers walks through the door in her perfect business suit. The competition is on with each side equally determined to best the other. As the stakes get higher, their mutual attraction deepens. Now, as the Casino faces its first blackout, Alex and Caroline are ready to indulge in a competition of a different sort, where the winner definitely takes all…

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

Helenkay Dimon always gets it right with the greatest, sexiest, hottest stories around, and VIVA LAS BAD BOYS is no exception.

In Jackpot, Jack Macallister thinks that it must be his lucky day when Laine Monroe sits down next to him. Sure, she is in a wedding dress, but a girl on the rebound... Hey, that makes for the best sex, right? Laine is beautiful, prideful and has an agenda a mile long, so if Jack chooses to believe she is a down and out bride, then she has him right where she wants him.

In Player's Club, Zach Jacobs thinks that his new boss, Jenna, has been hired for one reason only, just to torture him. A serious man-eater, Jenna is beautiful, sexy and totally unattainable to Zach—or is she? What Zach finds out is that maybe people aren't always what they seem to be, and there is nothing to prove that point like letting the defenses down and crawling between the sheets—or on top of a desk or two!

In the last of the novellas, and my favorite, Two of a Kind, Caroline Rogers is an undercover hotel critic who is on the prowl to make sure that people who read her column only go to the best-of-the-best. When she gets locked in a room with gorgeous assistant manager Alex Mitchell, she realizes two things: 1) This man can never know who she is, and 2) She is locked in a room with GORGEOUS Alex Mitchell! The sparks fly and heck, even I felt a little hot under the collar after reading this one.

Helenkay Dimon does not disappoint in this latest collection of novellas. If you are looking for something fun and sexy to read on a long weekend day, this one is the perfect book for you.
