LICENSE TO THRILL and CHARMED AND DANGEROUS were tough acts to follow, but MISSION: IRRESISTIBLE succeeded beautifully.

MISSION: IRRESISTIBLE is pretty darn irresistible. With a terrific romantic couple, a mummy with amnesia, a cleverly done mystery angle, gobs of humor and some hapless villains, this Wilde creation is wacky, breezy and sexy.

Ms. Wilde took two rather standard romance characters, stuck them together and created something special. The two were like undistinguished halves before Ms. Wilde made them a pair, giving each a richer substance to become a more perfect whole.

Harrison Standish, the colorless, scholarly, nerdish hero, and Cassie Cooper, the flirty, flighty butterfly heroine become MORE—together. More vivid. More well-drawn. Definitely more attuned to the outside world—and to each other. Their
relationship is, to put it mildly, electric.

The romance paired with an exciting Egyptian artifact mystery is fast-paced and highly entertaining. Harrison might be a wee bit mild for a true action hero, but there is no denying he is adorable...and sexy.

There is also no denying Ms. Wilde has a definite flair for comic timing. And story telling.

MISSION: IRRESISTIBLE is funny, fast and wildly wicked. Ms. Wilde is becoming a fixture on my 'must have' list.
