RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

Morgana, a Welch princess, sailed her ship from her homeland to escape an unwanted marriage with the King of England. When she became a captive of the Vikings she vowed to find a way to escape. Her captor, however, a handsome blonde warrior, was never cruel and treated her with kindness.

Erik, son of Ragnar, Jarl of Darvisson, was enthralled with the beautiful woman he found dressed as a lad on the captured ship. When he announced she would be touched by none but himself, he made a sworn enemy out of one of his men.

The stress in being in a strange land and the fact that she had never had to do common labor is a growing experience for Morgana. Each day she becomes more involved with Erik’s family and finds herself loving the untamed land.

VIKING SEDUCTION by Tracy L. Ranson is aptly named. From the minute of Morgana’s capture, Erik is out to seduce her. The story is fast paced and a pleasurable read. My only complaint was some of the dialogue did not meet the times and place. But I read it in one setting, as Ms. Ranson writes well and kept me turning the pages to find out what would happen next. I would definitely recommend this easy read and I look forward to reading THE CONQUEROR, also by this author.
