Super What? by Jax Abbott

THE TOP FIVE WAYS NOT TO START YOUR FIRST DAY AT A NEW HIGH SCHOOL:

1. Tell the hottest guy in class that he reminds you of an elf.

2. Get enormongo cramps.

3. Annoy one of the Populars.

4. Make even the geeks pity you.

5. Finally get the super powers you thought you'd never have and explode all the windows in English class.

Jess was SO not wearing tights and a cape!

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:4 Rose Read

Cute and sassy. That is the best way to describe Jax Abbott's, SUPER WHAT? teen fiction story. It's a must read for anyone who likes Buffy (Yes, I know it's off the air, but I still like it.) and has a secret crush on Orlando Bloom.

I love how the almost sixteen-year-old heroine, Jessie, is finally coming into her super-powers and yet has time to help out with mini-prom decorations at her new school, prospective dates, fashion, a telekinetic seven year old sister, and a mom that is "Jennifer Anniston-type" HOT. Did I mention the worst thing a newbie sophmore in high school has to deal with? You know...a really mean cheerleader!

Anyway, it is good fun and, surprisingly enough, you don't have to be a teenager to enjoy the workings of their crazy minds!
